How To Use:
Wax Melts: We recommend that you start testing with 5% added to your wax and then gradually increase this until you get the shimmering dance effect that you require.
Wax Melt Painting: Add a small amount of 99.9% rubbing alcohol to the mica, mix and paint using a small paintbrush.
Bath Bombs: Our mica can be used in bath bombs but Polysorbate 80 needs to be added to aid dispersion.
Bath Bomb Painting: Add a small amount of 99.9% rubbing alcohol to the mica, mix and paint using a small paintbrush.
Candle Decoration: Use as an alternative non-flammable colouring option by rubbing the mica onto the surface of the candle or mix it into an acrylic polymer emulsion medium and then apply with a brush or spray gun. Please Note: Do not use as a candle pigment as this will clog your wick.
We strongly advise that you keep your mica pigment powders in dry conditions at all times as humidity is the worst enemy of pearlescent pigments. We also recommend that you store them out of direct sunlight. Please be careful when opening and closing the pots as mica can go everywhere. We suggest covering your work station prior to commencing production.
